This recipe does not require any recipe. All you need is a pack of baby bok choy, cooking oil, soy sauce and a couple of natural flavours (powders).
I usually stock up on bok choy and eat it as a side dish. It pairs well with literally any sources of protein. Bok choy needs only 4 minutes of cooking. What can be faster than that? Well, perhaps eggs..and why not combine bok choy and your favourite egg-creation for brunch? That sounds like a good idea. When I need to make a quick fix, I cook bok choy, slice avocado and open a tiny can of tuna fish in olive oil (I just love this! And every supermarket sells this type of tuna fish cans).
I made a quick video on how to cook bok choy.
Wash the bok choy, trim the bottom parts a bit and cut them into halves along the stem.
Heat up 2-3 Tbsp of cooking oil (for example, grapeseed oil) in a frying pan.
Place the pieces of bok choy into the pan.
Sprinkle some garlic powder.
Then sprinkle some ginger powder.
Finally, pour a bit of soya sauce (like 3-4 Tbsp).
Cover the lid and ‘steam’-cook for 2 minutes, stirring half-way through.
Remove the lid and stir fry for another 2 minutes. Let the liquids to evaporate.
Bok choy should maintain it’s crunch while upper leaves get soft.
Enjoy this healthy fast-food meal!
